Traditional rubber mullen mouth bits harden, smell and need replacing every 18 months. Our silicone mullen mouth bit keeps the same gentle, straight-bar action — but in food-grade silicone that stays supple for years, never tastes of rubber and passes the same FDA / LFGB compliance as infant pacifiers. The flex is engineered by the mouthpiece geometry, not by compound degradation.
The steel core is CNC-machined to exact mouthpiece curvature, then silicone-over-moulded in a precision injection process. This bonds the silicone permanently to the steel — no delamination, no tooth-separation between silicone and metal. Every bit passes pull-test and surface-leak inspection before leaving the line.
Standard ring sizes: 125mm (cob), 140mm (full), 155mm (warmblood). Mouthpiece thickness: 16mm standard, 20mm soft-mouth variant. Ring type: standard loose ring; D-ring and full-cheek available on OEM. Standard silicone colour: translucent food-grade or black. Custom Pantone from 2,000 units. MOQ: 500 units standard; 2,000 for custom colour or geometry. Lead time 6-8 weeks ex-factory.
